My story with Argan Oil and Natural Products
I grew up in a Berber family where Argan oil held immense significance, often referred to as "The Liquid Gold."
During my childhood summer vacations in July and August, we would visit my father's hometown, Tislan, where the Argan fruit harvest season was in full swing. Witnessing my grandmother and aunts laboriously collecting Argan seeds from my family's propre Argan trees (Argania Spinosa) in the Anti Atlas mountains for many days was a memorable experience. Upon returning home, they would first air-dry the Argan fruit for several days, then meticulously remove the fleshy pulp by hand. Next, they would crack open the nuts, roast them, and press them using a millstone. Following this, they would grind and press them with a specific quantity of water before finally extracting the precious food-grade Argan oil, while cosmetic oil is prepared from unroasted kernels. During my initial years of studying the Chinese language in China I engaged in a small business, by bringing some oil to my Korean friends, sourced partly from the regular Argan Oil shop and partly from a small quantity of homemade oil from my hometown. After some time, my Korean friends requested the homemade oil from my hometown exclusively, instead of the shop-bought one.
At that time, I didn't understand why they preferred my hometown's Argan oil.
Years later, as I matured, my curiosity about Argan oil continued to grow, and the question lingered in my mind. I embarked on extensive research about the Argan oil and conducted experiments with different types of Argan oil in the laboratory. Without hesitation, it became evident that the Argan oil from my hometown was truly excellent in quality then the one from the shops. Since then, fueled by my passion to share pure Moroccan Argan oil with everyone, along with advice on its usage, preservation, and how to distinguish real from fake, and that's why I started my business.
